Straight from Halloween Town, the Mayor has arrived!
Inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas, this one-of-a-kind wooden sculpture features the Mayor’s iconic two-sided personality, complete with a swiveling head that reveals his happy and worried expressions.
Hand-cut, layered, and individually sculpted from wood, every detail has been carefully shaped, sanded, and painted by hand. From his exaggerated grin and worried expression to his pinstriped pants, sculpted jacket, tiny spider bow tie, and signature MAYOR ribbon, no detail was overlooked.
He stands on a handcrafted coffin shaped, checkerboard base made from padauk and wenge hardwoods, adding a rich contrast to the sculpture.

Built from layered wood and mixed media, this piece is all about exaggerated expression, dimension and texture. Each component was individually cut, carved, shaped and hand painted, with more than 10 colors layered throughout the finish.
Wire whiskers, faux fur, resin droplets and a spring detail add movement and texture beyond the carved wood, while the painted round backer pulls the entire piece together.
